Windows 11 SE spotted at latest leaked images

Microsoft’s Windows 11 is here and we are anticipating this latest OS to be less buggy than Windows 10 and at least half as better as Windows 7. And according to recent sources, it seems that Windows 11 is Microsoft’s attempt at developing a lighter operating system to potentially compete against ChromeOS.

But now that Microsoft has announced that it will be introducing its next-generation operating system on June 24th, the Twitter platform is flooded with many leaks and screenshots, wallpapers of the upcoming Windows OS.

It seems that the sources are accurate and the windows maker will indeed be taking most of the design elements from Windows 10X, another variant of Windows that was initially being designed for dual-screen foldable devices.

Many leaks and rumors are going around the internet about the OS from Microsoft, however, one user managed to spot an “SE” SKU of Windows 11. Twitter user @fakirmeditation shared screenshots of Windows 11 SE Dev Build 21996.1, sharing that this “version” of the OS is “restricting quite a few settings” and requires an online account to work.

This is Windows 11 SE, seems to be a successor of Windows 10 Cloud Edition, with it restricting quite a few settings and seemingly requiring a online account (as offline account creation is broken in OOBE). pic.twitter.com/QMaz3vWRD2

We know that Microsoft is still working on the development process of Windows 11 and another tweet posted by the same user shows that his Microsoft Store seems to be currently blocked.

While win32 apps work fine on SE, the widgets don't (clicking the button on the taskbar fails to bring anything up) pic.twitter.com/Bb3a9ZsvlS

however, its also been revealed that win32 apps are working fine on SE. there has also been some confirmation that some settings are missing from the SE SKU of Windows 11, including phone and search settings.

There is a lot of information floating around the internet regarding the next major OS from Microsoft. However, for now, these are all rumors and should be taken with a pinch of salt. But again if Microsoft indeed ends up releasing Windows 11 as we expect, then hopefully, it does a better job than Windows 10.
