Bhavish Aggarwal-led Ola recently re-released the Ola S1, the business’ second electric scooter in India, at a competitive price. This festive season, the company is now anticipated to release a less expensive electric scooter in the nation.
Ola Introducing New Version in India
On October 22, Ola is planning to introduce a new version of the Ola S1 in India. Bhavish Aggarwal, the company’s CEO, has confirmed the release. In a tweet, Aggarwal stated that the launch on October 22 will be “one of the biggest announcements from Ola ever.”
As per sources, the next version of the Ola S1 will be the least expensive model available, at a price under 80,000. The cost of the company’s current Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro scooters are respectively 99,999 and 1,39,999.
The new Ola S1 will be among the most reasonably priced two-wheeler electric vehicles from a major manufacturer. Most of the characteristics of the Ola S1 will likely be carried over to the upcoming Ola electric scooter. On the other hand, a smaller battery with a 100 km range is expected to be included.
Competing with Others
If the new Ola electric scooter is priced under 80,000, it will immediately compete with well-known two-wheelers like the TVS Jupiter and the Honda Activa 6G. Ola is also anticipated to release a Move OS 3 upgrade that will include features like hill hold control, hyper charging, key sharing, sounds, calling feature, and much more.
The company teased the release of personalized speedometers in a video that features an analog dial. Additionally, the headlamp displays RGB lighting, which could be seen in the upcoming scooter.
