Designated Survivor: Will there be a fourth season or the show has been cancelled?

Designated Survivor is a political thriller, it is directed by Kiefer Sunderland. The series shows us how a man become the President of the United States after a bomb attack that has taken place at Capitol Hill. The series stars Tom Kirkman, it consists of three seasons. The fans are still desperately waiting for the fourth instalment. Just like Madam Secretary or House of Cards the show has beautifully evolved into a more conventional and real political show.

Although the show has undergone much criticism regarding its usage of obscenity and introducing more serious subjects which many television networks thought would not be suited for them. But the directors and the producers felt differently as they firmly believe that it is liberating for the show to be featured on Netflix.

When Can We Expect ‘Designated Survivor’ Season 4 On Netflix?

Earlier, we have expected to return the show in mid-2020. But in July 2019, everyone received a piece of bad news from Deadline regarding the cancellation of the show.

Those who have watched the series earlier, have seen that President Kirkman has won his election and continues to fight for another four years in the Oval office. He has deliberately chosen to cover information that would have pronounced Moss not guilty for the bio-attack attempts. So, we expected to see something related to impeachment in the fourth instalment, definitely.
