Will Blake Lively Be at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 Wedding? Here’s Everything We Know

The wedding of the century is less than two weeks away, and the internet has only one question: will Blake Lively be in the pew? Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to marry on July 3, 2026, and the friendship fallout — and possible reconciliation — between Taylor and her former best friend is the subplot nobody can stop talking about.

Blake Lively Wedding Overview

The Blake Lively Question Everyone Is Asking

New rumors suggest that Taylor Swift has invited Blake Lively to be a part of her big day. But according to Extra TV, Taylor and Blake did not have a reconciliation phone call. In Hollywood friendship dynamics, that detail matters — a lot. No call usually means no guest chair.

For years, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were fixtures in Taylor’s famous celebrity friendship group — the inner circle known for double dates, squad appearances and unwavering public loyalty. Their bond looked unbreakable. Then came It Ends With Us.

What Caused the Rift — and Is It Over?

A subtle rift reportedly formed during the fallout of Blake Lively’s film It Ends With Us. When Blake found herself in controversy with co-star and director Justin Baldoni, a private text exchange between the two friends was revealed. Though Swift affectionately told her friend to just come back, being dragged into the drama reportedly left a temporary strain on their friendship.

But here’s where it gets interesting — insiders aren’t completely closing the door. According to Daily Mail, Swift was initially unhappy about being dragged into the drama but became much more receptive to reconnecting with her pal. An insider said: “Blake was ready to resume their friendship because it really was what caused its demise. Everyone around Taylor is aware that Blake could attend. She may not, but that won’t be because she isn’t welcome.”

That’s a carefully worded non-denial — and in celebrity world, it’s basically a cliffhanger.

Who Is Expected at the Wedding?

While Blake’s RSVP remains a mystery, celebs like Ed Sheeran, Zoë Kravitz, Suki Waterhouse, and plenty of Travis’s NFL teammates are expected to make their mark. Given Taylor’s sprawling musical and cultural connections, this guest list is shaping up to be one of the most star-studded gatherings in recent memory.

The Bigger Picture

What makes the Blake question so compelling isn’t just the gossip — it’s the very human story underneath it. Two women who were genuinely close, pulled apart by the chaos of a public controversy neither fully chose. Taylor’s wedding could either be the graceful moment of reconciliation, or the final confirmation of a permanent fracture. Either way, the world will be watching on July 3.
