This year, the competition will feature strong teams from the Indian Super League (ISL) like Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC, along with clubs from the I-League and even teams from the Indian Army. There will also be some international clubs joining in, promising an exciting tournament for fans.

This setup adds extra spice to the tournament, creating anticipation among fans and neutrals alike.

A total of 24 teams are split into six groups, with each group comprising four teams. The winners of each group will progress directly to the knockout rounds, while the two best second-placed teams from all groups will also advance, ensuring a competitive path to the tournament’s latter stages.
