Meet Kwon Do Hyuk, the Boss Who Trusts Only Data
Sung Hoon plays Kwon Do Hyuk, the only son of a wealthy chaebol family. He is smart enough to have developed his own AI, and he is a staunch rationalist who puts data and logic ahead of feelings. On top of that, he has a quirky flaw: he has zero sense of taste. Behind his strict standards, though, hides a loneliness he never talks about, and he suffers from insomnia every single night. It’s a character type K-drama fans love, the person who looks perfectly in control but is quietly struggling.
The Voice That Changes Everything
Do Hyuk’s carefully ordered life starts to wobble when he hears a woman’s voice on an album and sets out to find her. That voice belongs to Lee Eun Chae, played by Oh Se Young, the lead vocalist of an indie band. She becomes the only variable in his otherwise perfect world. Since Do Hyuk has always trusted only clear-cut data, he is surprised to find himself feeling emotions that don’t fit any of his expectations, and that is where the romance begins. You can read more about the actor on Sung Hoon’s Wikipedia page.
Why This Drama Looks Promising?
The setup mixes a few well-loved ingredients: a rich, emotionally guarded lead, a talented musician who shakes up his routine, and a slow discovery of feelings that can’t be measured. The insomnia detail also adds a vulnerable touch that could give the story more heart than the usual chaebol romance. Based on the stills alone, expect plenty of contrast between his polished office world and her indie music scene.
