Vivo Y50t with Snapdragon 720G and 4,500mAh battery launched in China

Vivo has launched a new budget smartphone in China. The company has expanded its Y-series lineup with the launch of the Y50t. It is a 4G smartphone that packs a Qualcomm processor under the hood. The device comes in a single storage configuration and two colour options. The new Vivo smartphone sports a hole-punch display at the top left corner of the screen. It also has a triple-camera setup on the back. Let’s take a look at the specifications, and other details of the phone.

Vivo Y50t specifications

The Vivo Y50t has the same design as the Vivo Y70t that was unveiled by the company earlier this year. The smartphone sports a 6.58-inch IPS Full HD+ LCD display with 1080 x 2480 pixel resolution and 90.72 percent screen-to-body ratio. The devices offer 60Hz of refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y50t on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.05 aperture.

Under the hood, the device draws power from a Snapdragon 720G SoC. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The device also gets 4GB virtual RAM support and 128GB of internal storage. For storage expansion, there is a microSD card slot.

The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise, the Vivo Y50t runs on the dated Android 10 OS with Origin OS 1.0 on the top. Connectivity options on the Vivo Y50t include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, and Micro-USB. Sensors on the phone include fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Y50t supports face unlock.
