Vivo X70 Pro, X70 Pro+ prices tipped in India before rumored September launch

Vivo X70 Series may launch in September in partnership with IPL

Multiple reports suggest that Vivo is working on the Vivo X70 series of smartphones. Earlier in June, certain reports stated that Vivo will launch the X70 series in September in partnership with the IPL 2021 tournament, an event in which Vivo is a major sponsor.

Today, a report by 91mobiles suggests that the Vivo X70 series will comprise of three devices, the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+, and these models are expected to come out in September. The source has also shed some light on the pricing of these devices.

The source did not reveal the exact price of the X70 but hinted that the X7 Pro will be priced somewhere around the price tag of $672(50,000 INR) whereas the X70 Pro+ will retail around $941(70,000 INR).

Vivo X60 Pro+

Looking at these prices, we can expect the Vivo X70 to retail around 50,000 INR or lesser.

When it comes to the specs of the Vivo X70 series, nothing is confirmed as of yet but from the rumors and leaks that have emerged, we can expect the Vivo X70 to feature a Samsung E4 AMOLED Display with an FHD+ resolution on all the devices. All the devices are expected to carry a 120Hz refresh rate as well.

The main camera sensor of the Vivo X70 may have an f/1.5 aperture and 5-axis image stabilization. The micro-gimbal stabilization that was seen on the X60 series could also be available on the X70 lineup. The X70 lineup is also expected to feature Vivo’s self-developed image signal processor(ISP).

Earlier today, the two Vivo phones with the model numbers V2130A and V2134A were spotted at the 3C certification platform. The listing also reveals that the devices support 5G connectivity and will arrive with support for 44W fast-charging. The best model on the lineup, the X70 Pro+ may come with support for 66W rapid charging.
