Vivo X500 Pro India Launch Set for December: Expected Price and Specifications

Vivo’s next camera-focused flagship, the X500 Pro, is now expected to arrive in India on December 2, 2026, bringing a major spec bump over its predecessor with a larger battery, a sharper LTPO display, and a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset under the hood. The device is currently listed as an upcoming launch, with an expected price of around Rs 1,04,990.

The X500 Pro’s headline feature is likely to be its camera system once again, continuing Vivo’s long-running partnership with Zeiss on optics. The triple rear setup pairs a 64MP sensor with two 50MP units, all backed by optical image stabilisation, while a 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Battery life is shaping up as another strong point, with a massive 7,500mAh cell paired with 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging, a combination that should comfortably deliver well over a day of use for most buyers even under heavy load.

On the software side, the X500 Pro is expected to ship with Android 17 running Vivo’s OriginOS 7 on top, while the build itself carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust, water and high-pressure water-jet resistance — a rare combination that speaks to how seriously Vivo is treating durability this generation.

With the launch still a couple of months away, pricing and final specifications could shift slightly before the official unveiling, but the current listing gives a fairly clear picture of what buyers in India can expect from Vivo’s next big camera flagship.

Vivo’s X-series has steadily built a reputation in India as the go-to option for buyers who prioritise photography over raw benchmark numbers, and the X500 Pro’s continued Zeiss collaboration suggests that positioning isn’t changing anytime soon. With Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo itself all lining up flagship launches within a few months of each other, the final quarter of 2026 is shaping up to be an unusually competitive stretch for premium smartphone buyers in India.

Vivo has not yet issued an official teaser for the India launch event, but the brand typically follows its China rollout schedule with a gap of six to eight weeks for its X-series Pro variants, which lines up closely with the December 2 date currently being floated by retail listings.
