Vivo X70 Pro+ and X70 Pro flagship smartphones launched in India

Vivo X70 Pro and X70 Pro+ smartphones are now official in India. Smartphone maker Vivo has launched its latest X70 flagship smartphone series in the country. The company has launched the Vivo X70 Pro and the X70 Pro+ smartphones. Both the smartphones come with Zeiss Optics and a Gimbal camera. Both the smartphones come with the Imaging chip V1 which is designed by Vivo. The X70 Pro+ is also the first and currently the only smartphone in India to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC under the hood. Vivo X70 Pro+ Specs

The Vivo X70 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 888+ SoC. The chip is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The X70 Pro+ sports a 6.78-inch QHD+ (3200 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and noticeable curvature on the edges. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

For optics, the Vivo X70 Pro+ gets a quad-camera setup with a 50 MP Samsung GN1 sensor with OIS and an f/1.57 aperture. The other three cameras include a 48 MP Sony IMX598 ultrawide shooter with Gimbal Stabilisation, an 8 MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS, and lastly, a 12 MP portrait camera with OIS. On the front, you get the same 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.

The Vivo X70 Pro+ also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support and 50W wireless charging support. The X70 Pro+ runs Android 11 based on FunTouch OS 11. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and more.

Vivo X70 Pro Specs

The X70 Pro comes with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ display (2376 x 1080) and this is an AMOLED screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone also uses an “all-new fluorite AG coating” to ensure a smooth surface, which the company claims will remain free from fingerprints. The X70 series also continues with the 3D curved display.

The camera at the back includes 50MP primary sensor, two 12MP cameras and an 8MP periscope lens. However, the camera comes with Gimbal stabilization for the main 50MP camera. All cameras come with the Zeiss T* coating. Other features include dedicated Portrait modes from Zeiss, Pro Cinematic mode for the camera, and a new Real-time extreme night vision mode.

The device is backed by a 4,450mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge fast charging support. It has a 32MP front camera. It will come in two colours: Aurora Dawn and Cosmic Black. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor with a maximum of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space.

Vivo X70 Pro+ and X70 Pro Pricing

Vivo X70 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 46,990 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone also comes in 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option at Rs. 49,990 and 12GB + 256GB model at Rs. 52,990. In contrast, the Vivo X70 Pro+ carries a price tag of Rs. 79,990 for the lone 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.

On the availability front, the Vivo X70 Pro will go on sale in Aurora Dawn and Cosmic Black colours starting October 7, whereas the Vivo X70 Pro+ will be available in Enigma Black from October 12. Both phones will be available for purchase through Flipkart, Vivo India E-Store, and offline retailers.

Launch offers on the Vivo X70 Pro series include a flat 10 percent cashback for customers making payments through ICICI Bank, Citi, and Kotak Mahindra Bank card or EMI transactions. There will also be a one-time screen replacement and no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months. The phones are also up for pre-bookings through Flipkart and Vivo India E-Store where customers are entitled to receive with up to a 10 percent cashback and Vivo Upgrade offer. The cashback is applicable for transactions made through ICICI Bank, Citi, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IDFC First Bank, and HDB Financial Services.
