Vivo X60 or X60 Pro appeared on GeekBench listing with Exynos 1080 and Android 11 OS

Vivo to launch its X60 flagship series of smartphones by the end of this month (expected on December 28). As per reports, there will be three models in this line up: Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro+. As of now, Vivo has not confirmed anything regarding the actual launch date. Recently, one of those three models, either the X60 or X60 Pro has appeared on the Geekbench website with a model number V2047A. From that listing, we’ve come to know that the smartphone from Vivo will be powered by the Exynos 1080 chipset. It may not be the Vivo X60 Pro+ as it was earlier rumored that it is going to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Another thing we’ve come to know that the device will run on the latest Android 11 OS and the SoC of this phone will be paired with 12GB RAM. In terms of the Geekbench 5 scores, this phone has managed to bag 888 points in the single-core test and 3244 points in the multi-core test. Earlier, the same model number V2047A has also appeared on the 3C certification website of China stating that the device will support 33W of fast charging.

Specifications of Vivo X60 (Expected)

The Vivo X60 series is said to have a Samsung-made Super AMOLED hole-punch display with a faster refresh rate of 120Hz. As mentioned earlier, this phone will be the first one to get powered by a 5nm Exynos 1080+ chipset. Talking about the Exynos 1080+ chipset, it holds a 1+3+4 core configuration. With an overall AnTuTu score of 693,600, this chipset easily beats the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC.

In terms of the camera section, we’ve no idea as well. All we came to know is that it will have a rectangular rear camera setup that includes three or four sensors and a hole-punch is there at the front for clicking selfies. As per its predecessor X50 series, it has a micro-gimbal camera system for capturing stable videos. So, the Vivo X60 should be equipped with an ultra-stable micro gimbal. As per the released poster, the Vivo X60 will feature a triple rear camera setup whereas the Pro variant will offer an additional square-shaped lens, that could be a periscope telephoto sensor.

The SoC of this phone will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. As of now, we have no idea regarding the capacity of its battery, but the battery will get powered by a 33W fast charger. This series is expected to come in three different color variants: blue, black, and white.
