Vivo V50e India Launch Soon: Dimensity 7300, 90W Charging, 5,600mAh Battery, IP68/69 Rating & More

The Vivo V50e would be the second offering in the V50 series after the Vivo V50 5G, which was launched in India last month. It will replace last year’s Vivo V40e, which went on sale in September 2024. Here’s what we know so far about this incoming smartphone. Another leak revealed that the Vivo V50e would have a robust build, giving it an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance. It will also feature Diamond Shield Glass and reinforced cushioning structure to provide better durability without sacrificing protection against accidental drops.

The Vivo V50e will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 chipset under the hood, delivering power-efficient performance. It will have a mammoth 5,600mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Vivo also claims that the battery is designed to deliver consistent performance for up to five years, making it a long-lasting choice for users. As for cameras, it has been previously reported that there will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera in the Vivo V50e, with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

The Vivo V50e will support multiple focal lengths, including 26mm, 39mm, and 52mm, providing versatile photography options. Additionally, the smartphone will come with the India-exclusive Wedding Portrait Studio mode, catering to users who enjoy portrait photography. Rumors suggest that the Vivo V50e will launch in India in April. Like its predecessor, the Vivo V40e, it is expected to be priced under ₹30,000, making it a compelling mid-range offering in the Indian smartphone market.
