Vivo V50 India Launch and Sale Dates Leak Before Announcement

The Vivo V50’s India launch has been officially teased, confirming key features such as its battery, cameras, IP rating, design, and color options. Although the specific launch date has not been revealed, reports have claimed that the phone will be launched officially in the third week of February. The report which comes via 91mobiles Hindi, goes on to say that the Vivo V50 will launch on February 17, with availability on both online and offline channels on February 24, in line with previous V-series devices.

As per speculations, the Vivo V50 will be the same as the Vivo S20 in China, but with certain tweaks for the Indian market. A dedicated microsite already went up with info on its hardware and design. It will come with a quad-curved display, a 41-degree curvature, ultra-slim bezels (0.186 cm), and Diamond Shield Glass. The processor details aren’t confirmed yet but it has been speculated that the device will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset for a smooth 60-month experience.

As for the cameras, the Vivo V50 will have Zeiss optics with a 50MP OIS primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with the ability to shoot 4K videos, a 50MP selfie camera, and an Aura Light for low-light selfies. It will be one of the slimmest phones in the segment, featuring a 6,000mAh battery with possibly 90W fast charging support.

The device will run Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 and include AI features like AI Transcript and AI Live Call Translation. It will also offer IP68 and IP69 certification for dust and water resistance. The Vivo V50 will be available in Titanium Grey, Rose Red, and Starry Blue, with a new 3D-star technology on the back panel. The phone is expected to be priced at ₹37,999, slightly higher than the ₹34,999 price of the Vivo V40.
