Vivo has turned its attention to the earphones segment by releasing the Vivo TWS 2 ANC and the TWS 2e. The release took place in China, the Vivo TWS 2 is the next installment of the first generation TWS which had released in 2019 so it has taken a while for Vivo to come out with the latest version.
The Vivo TWS 2 will feature ANC and will be a first amongst Vivo earphones. The earbuds support 40dB noise reduction and are equipped with a 12.2mm dynamic driver. The TWS 2 has aptX adaptive codec support, a DEEP- HD ultra-clear audio engine, and up to 30 hours of battery life with the case.
When it comes to the Vivo TWS 2e is very similar to the Vivo TWS 2 ANC except for the fact that it supports only AAC/SBC codec and lacks DEEP-HD ultra-clear engine support.
For low latency, the Vivo TWS 2 has a latency of 88ms and the Vivo TWS 2e will come with a latency of 117ms. When it comes to the touch controls, the Vivo TWS 2 will have touch detection whereas the Vivo TWS 2e will come with standard controls.
The Vivo TWS 2 and Vivo TWS 2e will come with Golden Ears engineering in order to provide Hi-Fi audio and they will come with IPX4 and IPX5 ratings respectively.
When it comes to the pricing of the earphones, the Vivo TWS 2 will retail at 5,660 INR and the Vivo TWS 2e will retail at 3,400 INR.
