Vivo S2 Series: RAM, Storage, Colours & India Pricing Leaked Ahead of Launch

Vivo S2 Series: Seven years after the Vivo S1, the S series is finally coming back to India — and now we know what it’ll cost

Back in May, tipster Abhishek Yadav was the first to reveal that Vivo was reviving its S series in India after a seven-year gap — the last one being the Vivo S1 way back in 2019. Now he’s back with the details fans have been waiting for: memory options, colours, and early pricing straight from internal retail listings.

Vivo S2 Series: RAM, Storage & Colour Options

According to the leak, the Vivo S2 series will launch in two memory configurations, both built around 8GB of RAM:

On the colour front, buyers can expect three finishes at launch:

• Sapphire Blue
• Regal Bronze
• Silk White

What It Might Cost in India

Internal retail listings reportedly show demo units priced at ₹38,000 and ₹42,000, while the 8GB+128GB retail listing is currently showing ₹43,000. Yadav is clear that these are internal listing figures, not confirmed launch prices — Vivo hasn’t put out an official number yet, so some movement before launch is likely.

That range lines up with earlier chatter from tipster Yogesh Brar, who had separately pegged the Vivo S2 as a sub-₹50,000 launch — suggesting Vivo is positioning this as a premium mid-ranger rather than a flagship-killer.

The Comeback Story So Far

The S series was once Vivo’s go-to camera-and-design-focused mid-range line before it quietly disappeared from Indian shelves after the S1. Its return has been one of the more closely watched leaks on TechnoSports this year, fitting into the broader wave of premium mid-range launches reshaping India’s smartphone market in 2026. Early rumours point to a launch window in the first week of August, alongside a curved OLED display and a large battery — though the exact chipset is still unconfirmed, with conflicting reports floating around.

Bottom Line

The Vivo S2 is shaping up to be a genuine comeback for a series Indian buyers haven’t seen new hardware from since 2019. RAM, storage, and colours now look fairly locked in — the only real question left is what final price Vivo settles on when it officially launches the device. More exclusive details, including the chipset and launch timeline, are expected soon.
