Vivo Pad 2 is the successor suspected to sport new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset

The BBK group OEMs have made up their mind to counter Apple and the tablet giants by launching new tablets across all its subsidiaries. It started with Realme last year and this year both OPPO & OnePlus is all set to launch their own tablets now Vivo has also made up its mind to launch the successor of the Vivo Pad launched in 2022 with Snapdragon 870.

As per tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, this upcoming Vivo Pad 2 has been spotted on Google Play-supported devices. This Vivo Pad 2 tablet with model number PA2373 will sport a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset and preferably, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to bring flagship performance, apart from this nothing is known so far.

Vivo Pad Specifications

The Vivo Pad offered an 11-inch display, it is for those who prioritize productivity over everything else. It comes with a stylus and keyboard, the optional keyboard has a trackpad which can be combined with the flip cover with a built-in kickstand.

The display sported a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. It featured both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for an amazing multimedia experience. The stylus can distinguish between 4,096 levels of pressure.

The Vivo Pad was powered by Snapdragon 870 chip with Origin OS HD on top. You can use NFC to pair your Vivo Phone with the Pad, this will mirror the phone’s display on the tablet, and it helps you interact with phone apps and easily transfer files between the two devices.

It also sported a USB Type-C port rated for USB 3.2 Gen1 speeds so you can attach fast storage and external displays up to 4K at 60Hz.

The Vivo Pad was a very slim tablet made out of aviation-grade aluminium. It did not have any antennas that spoil the clean design of this tablet, instead of this Vivo had hidden the antenna under the display using the indigenously developed technology. The tab also sported a huge 8,040mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

The Vivo Pad was launched back on 15th April 2022, the base 8GB+128GB version used to cost CNY 2,500 or 29,800 INR and the 8GB+256GB version used to cost CNY 3,000 or 35,700 INR.

It will be interesting to see how Vivo Pad 2 launches and is priced, though it seems this Vivo Pad 2 tablet could be launched in the same month of April 2023.
