Vishwanath & Sons: Overview

What’s The Story About?

The film follows Sanjay Vishwanath, a successful industrialist and former champion shooter who’s always valued independence over relationships. After becoming a father through surrogacy, his world shifts when his son’s health requires help from his biological mother, Maddy — a spirited medical student from San Francisco. As Maddy bonds with Sanjay’s family and, eventually, with Sanjay himself, the story unfolds into a heartfelt tale about family, healing old wounds, and second chances at connection.

Suriya leads with his signature natural charisma, while Mamitha Baiju brings warmth to Maddy’s arc. The supporting cast includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, and Nassar, rounding out a story that blends emotional depth with genuine family drama.

Why It’s Worth Streaming

Beyond its heartfelt premise, Vishwanath & Sons benefits from Venky Atluri’s grounded direction and a soundtrack composed by GV Prakash Kumar. It’s the kind of slow-burn family drama that plays even better on a second watch — perfect for a weekend binge now that it’s landing on Netflix.
