He explained that after Vaathi, he went on to make Lucky Baskhar entirely in Telugu, only for it to become a surprise blockbuster with Tamil audiences too. That experience convinced him that shooting in multiple languages simply adds extra production days without being strictly necessary anymore, since audiences have grown far more open to watching films regardless of their original language.
