Years of whispered rumours, carefully guarded silences, and fan-coined ship names — and it’s finally here. Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have arrived in Udaipur ahead of their February 26, 2026 wedding, and the pap pictures of them twinning in matching grey blazers and white shirts at the airport have already broken the internet.
The couple may have exited the airport separately — but their coordinated outfits, right down to the stylish belts, said everything words couldn’t.

How “VIROSH” Became a Love Story
The name Virosh is an amalgamation of Vijay and Rashmika — a name their fans lovingly coined long before the couple ever admitted anything publicly. In their joint social media announcement confirming the wedding, the two wrote a note to their fans that was genuinely moving: before they made any plans for themselves, their fans had already given them a name and wrapped them in love. So they chose to honour that — calling it The Wedding of VIROSH.
It’s one of the most fan-inclusive celebrity wedding announcements Indian cinema has ever seen, and it landed exactly the way you’d hope it would.
From Geetha Govindam to “I Do”
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika’s journey started on screen with Geetha Govindam (2018), followed by Dear Comrade (2019) — both directed by Parasuram. On-screen chemistry sparked off-screen whispers that lasted for years. The couple never officially confirmed their relationship until this wedding announcement, making the whole reveal feel deeply personal and earned.
The wedding itself will be intimate, with international security in place and a strict no-phone policy for guests — clearly, this is one occasion they want to keep just for themselves and their closest circle. For more on South Indian celebrity news and events, stay tuned to our coverage.
What’s Next for the Newly-Weds on Screen?
The couple’s upcoming film Ranabaali, a period action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan, releases on September 11, 2026 — making it their first on-screen appearance as a married couple. Vijay also has Rowdy Janardhana slated for December 2026, while Rashmika is reportedly set to join Allu Arjun’s next directed by Atlee.
