Posted by @yashoda5944, the reel has racked up 12.5 million views.

The reel opens with a woman in a red sari speaking straight into a selfie camera. She explains that she doesn’t own a TV and isn’t someone who follows many celebrities, so when her students began telling her that a famous name had shared her video, she had no idea what the fuss was about. The on-screen text sets up the story with the line “Friends, little did I know that…”

As she tells it, the reshare changed things for her in a big way. A small picture-in-picture insert shows the proof, and she wraps up with a simple lesson and a thank-you to the people who watched. It is warm, unpolished and easy to listen to.

This 13-second reel is a rapid-fire montage of Bollywood stars at a promotional event. It opens on a leading actor mid-walk, then cuts quickly from one celebrity to the next, each clip landing on the beat of an upbeat Punjabi-flavoured track that starts the moment the video does. A “SUBSCRIBE” prompt flashes on screen early.

The caption, written in Hinglish, gives film details for Saba Nayagan (2023), a romantic coming-of-age drama. The video itself is short enough to loop without anyone noticing, so many viewers end up watching it several times just to catch every face.

A fan edit built around the romance between Vijay and Rashmika in Ranabaali. It starts with an actress in a saree walking confidently onto a set while the cameras roll, and the track “Chaire Chaire” (featuring B Praak and Jaani) kicks in straight away.

The cuts follow the rhythm of the song, lingering on glances, smiles and small moments between the leads. The caption praises the “simplicity” of the pair, and the edit leans on exactly that: no big spectacle, just chemistry set to music.

Billed as a reaction to Indian internet absurdity, this split-screen reel pairs a man selling a purple garment with a still image of a purple iPhone. The text overlay declares that “Indians are the most funny people on earth,” and a Hindi voice sets up the joke immediately.

Two different men then react to the same clip, laughing at the mismatch. The caption adds “Bro Indians are built different,” and the humour works because it plays on the kind of jugaad-style sales pitch many viewers have seen in real markets.

Timed for Gandhi Jayanti, this reel marks the 157th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi with a cheeky twist. A man in traditional Indian clothing dances enthusiastically to an upbeat pop track while looking straight at the camera.

As he keeps the same moves going, AI face-swap filters switch his face between different famous and historical figures, and the caption jokes that Gandhi ji’s birthday party had a guest list nobody expected. The creator also invites viewers to comment for more. The seamless dance and the surprise of each new face keep people watching to the end.
