Interestingly, this marks Anil Ravipudi’s second collaboration with Kalyan Ram, their first being the 2015 blockbuster Pataas, which launched Ravipudi’s directorial career in style.
On the leading lady front, the pairing of Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty adds immense star power. Both actresses are riding high on popularity right now, making this a quad of talent audiences will genuinely root for.
GV Prakash Kumar handling the music is another huge plus — his energetic, foot-tapping scores have elevated countless South Indian entertainers. Learn more about the Sankranthi box office tradition on Wikipedia to understand just how massive this festival release slot is.
Why This Film Is Already a Big Deal
Anil Ravipudi has mastered the art of mass entertainment with a comedic touch. His previous outing with Venkatesh, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, was a massive commercial success — a breezy action-comedy that kept audiences thoroughly entertained. With that chemistry already proven, expectations for VenkyAnil5 are sky-high.
