Why This Launch Was Extra Special

This isn’t just another film launch — it’s a rare family moment that Tollywood fans will cherish. Niharika Konidela, who is producing the film under her Pink Elephant Pictures banner, described the experience as deeply personal, noting that her father had previously made films with family members and that she now truly understands how special that feeling is.

Varun Tej echoed the sentiment warmly, saying it feels very special to work as a hero in a film produced by his sister, and expressed happiness that Pawan Kalyan attended the launch — just as he had for his earlier film Mukunda.

At the muhurat ceremony, Pawan Kalyan gave the first clap, while Mythri Movie Makers’ Naveen Yerneni switched on the camera, and director Merlapaka Gandhi along with producer Rajeev Reddy formally handed over the script to the team.

What Is Bhari About?

Bhari is a village-based sports drama centred on the sport of volleyball. Director Yadhu Vamsi revealed that the idea came to him during pre-production of another script, and volleyball immediately made him think of Varun Tej for the role. After writing the full screenplay over three months, Varun loved the story and signed on immediately. Needygirl-anime

Varun Tej has already begun volleyball training to prepare physically for the role, signalling the kind of commitment this project demands. Needygirl-anime
