Valorant Reveals the New Agent ‘KAY/O’, Can Disable Enemy Abilities

After getting the new map ‘Breeze’, rumors were started flying around that a new agent is coming very soon. In the first reveal, we were only teased with a bodiless head of a robot. But yes, Riot has finally revealed the new agent coming to Valorant – a smart robot, this killing machine is named KAY/O.

The most attractive part of KAY/O is disabling the opponent’s abilities. One of his abilities is throwing a knife that sticks to walls and shuts down an enemy player’s abilities in a limited radius.

This makes him quite similar to Revenant from Apex Legends, who is likewise a robot that is able to throw ability-suppressing projectiles, but the remaining abilities of KAY/O help him stand out from Respawn’s skeletal assassin.

The second ability is flashbang, which doesn’t need any explanation I think, each FPS players are familiar with it. The third ability is a frag grenade which takes a limited radius and explodes multiple times on detonation.

Finally, coming to the ultimate, KAY/O builds on this silencing ability, emitting pulses of suppression energy. This effect powers up the character with stim similar to Brimstone; and the second part of the ultimate is, if he is downed in his ultimate state, allies will be able to revive him and get back to that round.

Most of the people guessed that Riot gonna include a ‘Sentinel’ type agent, but they proved us wrong and has brought an ‘Initiator’ putting the 4th one after Sova, Breach, and Skye. The agent will be available in the Valorant Episode 3: Act 1 which is going to begin on June 22.
