In a gesture filled with faith and devotion, the Vadh 2 team made a special visit to the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj. This grand event, which takes place at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, is considered one of the most sacred gatherings in Hindu tradition.

The cast and crew, including actors Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, director Jaspal Singh Sandhu, and producer Ankur Garg, took a ritualistic dip at the Sangam Ghat. They also offered prayers at the historic Akshay Vat Temple, seeking blessings for the film’s journey ahead.

Sanjay Mishra, who has been appointed as ‘Cyber Baba’ by the UP Police to raise awareness about cyber frauds at the Kumbh, led the team in this spiritual experience. The energy of the Mahakumbh, with millions of devotees gathered in prayer, infused the team with inspiration, setting a divine tone for the film’s production.

Neena Gupta Shares Her Experience

Veteran actress Neena Gupta was deeply moved by the experience, calling it a long-cherished wish finally fulfilled.

“I have been wanting to come here for years… It was a unique experience… Finally, I took a dip today,” she said while speaking to ANI.

She also expressed her amazement at the scale of the event, saying, “The atmosphere here is crazy. I have never seen a bigger gathering in my life… I am impressed by the government for organizing such a huge event.”

Her words reflect the grandeur of the Mahakumbh, which has seen over 397.4 million devotees take part in the holy ritual so far, according to data from the Uttar Pradesh Government Information Department.
