Bengaluru-based indie studio Aeos Games just dropped a brand-new gameplay trailer for Unleash the Avatar, and gamers are already buzzing. Revealed at Bilibili Game First Look, the trailer showcases protagonist Vikram battling Kinkara, servant of Yama, the Hindu god of death and justice. Expect dodges, parries, a ranged chakra attack, and a striking feather prism combat form.
Adding star power, voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch (known for Persona 4, Bleach, and Devil May Cry) will voice Vikram, bringing emotional depth to this Soulslike journey rooted in Indian mythology.
Why This Game Matters
Unleash the Avatar is fully self-funded by a 40-person team — no publisher backing, no shortcuts. With over 21,000 games launched on Steam in 2025 alone, wishlists are the lifeline that helps indie titles stand out. Every wishlist tells Aeos Games (and the industry) that there’s real demand for culturally rich, mechanically deep action games.
