Unix Launches UX-800 ‘Off Beat’ Wireless Headset at ₹1,999

Unix India has unveiled the UX-800 ‘Off Beat’ wireless headset, a premium audio product offering 42 hours of playtime and refined sound quality at an accessible price point. This marks a strategic shift for the brand toward higher-value offerings in India’s competitive audio market.

Product Specifications at a Glance

What Sets It Apart

The UX-800 builds on the success of Unix’s EPIC headphone series but takes things up a notch with enhanced specs and better build quality. The 40mm drivers deliver balanced audio with punchy bass, clean mids, and crisp highs—suitable for music streaming, video calls, and everything in between.

Battery Life That Actually Lasts: With 42 hours of continuous playback, the UX-800 outlasts most competitors in this price range. The 400-hour standby time means you can leave them charged for weeks without worry. Type-C fast charging takes just 2-3 hours for a full charge.

Versatile Connectivity: Beyond standard Bluetooth with 10-meter range, the headset includes TF card support. This lets you load music directly onto the device and listen without connecting to your phone—perfect for workouts or travel when you want to go phone-free.

Comfort for Long Sessions: Soft cushioned ear pads and ergonomic design make extended listening sessions comfortable, whether you’re working from home, commuting, or just relaxing with your favorite playlist.

Unix’s Premium Push

“We’re witnessing strong momentum in the audio segment, and the UX-800 is our way of exploring a more premium direction with advanced features,” says Imran Kagalwala, Co-Founder at Unix India. “We believe we’re offering a well-balanced product that resonates with users looking for something beyond the ordinary.”

This launch reflects Unix’s broader strategy to move upmarket while maintaining affordability. The company operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, following a ‘Made in India’ approach to design and development.

Availability

The UX-800 ‘Off Beat’ is available now across leading retail stores nationwide in three colors: Black, Beige, and White, all priced at ₹1,999. The headset competes directly with offerings from established audio brands but undercuts them on price while matching key features.

For users seeking reliable wireless audio with marathon battery life and solid sound quality without breaking the bank, the UX-800 presents a compelling option in the premium-affordable segment.
