What Happened in The Practical Guide to Love — and Why Ui Yeong Moved Out

The previous episode ended on a tense cliffhanger — Ui Yeong’s estranged father unexpectedly showed up at the dinner where she had planned to formally introduce Song Tae Seop to her mother, Park Jeong Im. That one awkward ambush was apparently enough to fracture things between mother and daughter completely.

Newly released stills from the upcoming episode show Lee Ui Yeong now living at Song Tae Seop’s house after the falling-out — relaxing in bed in her pajamas and chatting with her supportive boyfriend over a home-cooked meal, looking completely at ease in his space.

It’s the cohabitation moment K-drama fans have been waiting for — and it’s as warm and cozy as you’d imagine.

Tae Seop Is Peak Boyfriend Material

Here’s where Tae Seop truly earns his crown. While Ui Yeong settles into his apartment, Tae Seop takes it upon himself to pay a surprise visit to her mother Park Jeong Im. She’s caught off guard by his sudden appearance — but visibly happy to see him. In a quietly heroic moment, he carries her recycling as they walk together.

Mediating between his girlfriend and her mum? Gallantly helping with the recycling? This man is genuinely built different.

With Tae Seop thoughtfully taking care of both mother and daughter, the big question is whether he’ll succeed in bridging the gap between them before the finale.

The Practical Guide to Love is based on the popular Naver webtoon Efficient Dating for Singles — explore the full series background on Wikipedia.
