Moon Geun Young hasn’t led a film in nine years. Her comeback vehicle just wrapped filming, and it comes with serious horror pedigree attached — Yeto (literal title), co-directed by Train to Busan‘s Yeon Sang Ho, has officially finished production with Moon Geun Young, Ko A Seong, and Kim Si Ah confirmed in the lead roles.
The premise alone is unsettling: two influencer sisters head out on a camping trip, and the younger one vanishes at the site of a mysterious, defunct cult. From there, the film blends visual effects with heavy dramatic stakes — a combination Yeon Sang Ho has built his career on.
Who’s Playing Who?
Moon Geun Young plays Su Ah, an influencer who documents her life with her younger sister for the world to see — a role that marks her first lead film performance in nearly a decade. She previously worked with director Yeon Sang Ho on Hellbound Season 2, where her transformation earned considerable acclaim.
Ko A Seong takes on Deok Hee, a mysterious figure the sisters encounter after crossing into an unfamiliar world — her first-ever collaboration with Yeon Sang Ho. Kim Si Ah rounds out the trio as Min Ah, the younger sister whose disappearance sets the story in motion.

Yeon Sang Ho is best known for directing Train to Busan, one of the highest-grossing Korean films internationally, alongside genre hits like Peninsula and the Netflix series Hellbound. Co-director Yoon Young Woo previously worked on the production teams behind both Train to Busan and Bong Joon Ho’s Parasite — a pairing that has fans expecting Yeto to deliver both technical polish and emotional depth.
Director Yeon Sang Ho called the cast’s performances “explosive” during filming, adding that the project’s heavy post-production workload is now the team’s main focus.
