Reuniting With Familiar Collaborators

Rao and Malhotra reunite three years after working together in Ludo (2020) and HIT: The First Case (2022). At the announcement event, Sanya Malhotra expressed her enthusiasm, saying she had always enjoyed working with Raj and describing the shoot as a fun ride.

Production History and Cast Changes

The film was announced on May 22, 2024, and Sonakshi Sinha was initially attached to play the female lead but was later replaced by Sanya Malhotra before filming began in the latter half of 2024. Principal photography was completed shortly before Netflix officially announced the film on February 3, 2026.
