A Reunion Worth The Wait

This marks the third collaboration between Sethupathi and Balaji, following their acclaimed black comedy Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom — based on a real-life incident involving director C. Prem Kumar — and the romantic drama Seethakaathi, which marked Sethupathi’s 25th film.

Beyond Baththa, Sethupathi has a packed slate ahead, including a special appearance in Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, a role in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Pocket Novel, and an upcoming Mani Ratnam directorial alongside Sai Pallavi.

With plot details still under wraps, all eyes are now on how this proven creative pairing delivers their next story.
