Meanwhile, Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski) struggles with his fate as the Dragon Reborn, the one prophesied to either save or destroy the world.

New Locations and Powerful Revelations

This season, viewers will be taken to several exciting new places across the Westlands. One of the key locations is the Aiel Waste, a vast and treacherous desert home to the warrior-like Aiel people. Another major setting is Tanchico, a lively but dangerous port city filled with political intrigue. Additionally, fans will get to explore the ancient city of Rhuidean, which is hidden in mist and forbidden to most.

“In Rhuidean, Rand and Moiraine will both experience life-changing revelations,” the show’s creators teased in a statement. These moments are expected to have a huge impact on their journeys moving forward.

A New Journey for Perrin Aybara

While Rand and Moiraine’s paths lead them to distant lands, another significant storyline will unfold in the small village of Two Rivers. Perrin Aybara (played by Marcus Rutherford), one of Rand’s childhood friends, will embark on his own personal journey, which will forever change who he is.

Perrin’s storyline has been one of the most anticipated parts of the new season, as his character undergoes major growth and transformation. Fans of the books know that this is where his abilities and internal struggles take center stage, making for an emotional and action-packed arc.
