The Traitors 2: Krystle D’Souza Sets the Record Straight on Her Fallout With Shahneel Gill

Reality TV drama has a way of following contestants long after the cameras stop rolling — but this time, the ending is a happy one. Krystle D’Souza has finally addressed the very public tension between her and Shahneel Gill that unfolded on “The Traitors 2,” confirming the two have patched things up.

The Traitors 2: The Fallout and Reconciliation

What Krystle D’Souza Said

Taking to Instagram, Krystle addressed the speculation head-on, making clear that despite the very real tension shown on screen, her bond with Shahneel remains intact. She explained that she was genuinely upset after watching the episode where their conflict played out, admitting she hadn’t expected things to unfold the way they did and was caught off guard since she wasn’t even aware of what had happened while she was still in the game. She confirmed the two have since talked it through and reconciled, adding that disagreements like this tend to happen most with people you actually care about.

Shahneel Gill’s Side of the Story

Shahneel, for her part, had already reflected publicly on her own gameplay before Krystle’s clarification. She acknowledged that her drive to stay in the competition pushed her into moves she isn’t entirely proud of, admitting she got so consumed by survival instinct that she overplayed her hand. She also noted the swift consequence of her strategy — she was eliminated the very same day her plan backfired, joking that karma didn’t even give her a grace period.

What Actually Happened on the Show

Both Krystle and Shahneel were playing as Traitors when the conflict came to a head. During a Circle of Shaq segment, Shahneel attempted to rally the house against Krystle, pushing for her elimination. The strategy backfired badly — instead of turning suspicion toward Krystle, it raised questions about Shahneel’s own motives among the Faithfuls, ultimately leading to Shahneel’s own exit from the game.
