MediaTek‘s offering against Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip will be the Dimensity 9000. We have already seen the flagship chip show some promise over the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and the Samsung Exynos 2200. However, MediaTek’s flagship chip is yet to find its way into a device, but it may not be long before we see that as the brand has released a couple of new teasers.

The MediaTek Weibo account confirmed that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip will officially debut on the Oppo Find X5 Series. The company stated that the Dimensity 9000 will launch on the 24th of February onboard the Find X5 Series.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is based on TSMC’s 4nm process with a 3.0GHz Cortex-X2 super core, three 2.85GHz A710 large cores, and four 1.8GHz A510 mid-core architecture.

In terms of the benchmark performance, the Dimensity 9000’s AnTuTu score exceeded 1,017,488 points which are higher in comparison to the Snapdragon 8 Gen1’s score. On GeekBench, the flagship processor secured 1273 points on the single-core test and 4324 points on the multi-core test.

The multi-core test score exceeds that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, which falls in the range of 3,800 and 3,900 points. We will find out more about the Dimensity 9000 when the Find X5 Series go official on the 24th of February.
