The Details Behind Each Gig

“Black Cobra” follows DeDe Hornsby as she fights to claim her family’s superhero legacy against her mother’s wishes. The production is currently seeking a supporting actor to play Lady Deathshot, a hand-to-hand combat specialist and hired killer.

“The Necromancer” is an action-fantasy pilot following four knights on a dangerous mission into cursed woods, with several lead and supporting roles open — including the antagonistic witch.

Meanwhile, an unnamed action feature film shooting in Manila is casting for roles like Black Widow, Iron Saint, and Machete, with travel and accommodations covered.

For something more heartfelt, “Run” — a series about a hero with super speed — needs a Santa Claus for a Christmas episode and a female lead to play the hero’s super-speed love interest.

Fans of the wall-crawler can try out for “Spider-Man: Alliance,” a prequel fan film from the creators of “Spider-Man: Fallout,” casting Peter Parker, Mary Jane, and more.

Why This Matters for Aspiring Actors?

Landing any role — even in an unpaid fan film — builds real credits and experience. The rise of superhero content, much of it inspired by decades of storytelling from Marvel Comics, continues to fuel opportunities for actors at every level, from fan productions to studio blockbusters.
