India’s new funding arena, The Lions’ Den premieres on the June 6th on Jiostar, WAVES OTT and DD National with its spirit of AtmaNirbhar Bharat

What to Expect in The Lions’ Den

Each 44-minute episode plunges viewers into the heart of the action as startups pitch their ideas to a panel of five formidable “Lions.” These aren’t just investors; they’re seasoned business leaders who bring their expertise and mentorship to the table, making on-the-spot funding decisions that could change the trajectory of these startups forever.

But that’s not all! Alongside the Lions, a team of four “Super Angels” co-invests in smaller ventures, and a three-member Experts’ Panel offers post-pitch insights, providing valuable lessons for viewers to learn from every deal.

Rigorous Preparation and Mentorship

Before even stepping onto the show, all startups undergo a rigorous pre-screening and due diligence process to ensure authenticity. Each team also receives tailored mentorship from in-house industry specialists, honing their pitches to perfection before facing India’s most influential investors.

The Lions Speak Out

In a joint statement, the Lions emphasized their mission: “Our mission is to democratize startup funding in India. The unique combination of Lions, Super Angels, and expert mentors will empower entrepreneurs to turn ambition into reality—and contribute to AtmaNirbhar Bharat.”
