The Dam Confrontation: Sidney’s Master Plan Revealed

After discovering Sidney’s whereabouts at the Healy station, Bradford determines she’s heading to the hydroelectric dam—the perfect location to transmit Archive 6. With her CIA task force, Bradford arrives first and waits to ambush Sidney.

But here’s the twist: Sidney expected them. Throughout the episode, she deliberately left clues—including a 911 call—because she wanted to be followed. Frank Remnick realizes this en route, understanding that Sidney wasn’t escaping; she was setting a trap.

When Havlock arrives at the dam shortly after Sidney, it becomes clear they devised this plan together between the Episode 8 car crash and now. The episode ends on a cliffhanger before revealing their full strategy, but one thing is certain: Bradford has walked straight into Sidney’s carefully orchestrated ambush.

Frank vs. Bradford: A Power Struggle

While both Frank and Bradford are hunting Sidney, their motivations couldn’t be more different. Frank knows about Archive 6 and Bradford’s kill list—the evidence of unsanctioned assassinations she’s been conducting. He’s determined to reach Sidney first, not to help Bradford’s agenda but to prevent another murder.

Frank refuses to surrender Havlock and Thiago to Bradford, challenging her authority at every turn. The tension between them highlights a critical truth: Bradford wants Sidney eliminated to protect her secrets, while Frank seeks justice.

What is Archive 6 and Why Does It Matter?

Archive 6 contains documentation of Bradford’s illegal black ops operations, including the kill order for Sidney’s father, Robert Scofield. Bradford has been running unsanctioned missions worldwide, providing classified intelligence without approval and eliminating operatives once their jobs are complete.

Sidney’s father was Bradford’s first target, making this deeply personal. Sidney planned the plane crash to activate Havlock’s dead man’s switch, which would automatically distribute Archive 6 and expose Bradford’s crimes. Though the initial plan failed, Sidney now has a hard copy and is ready to make her final move.
