THE BOYZ’s New Steps Into a Fresh Chapter With ONLY NEW Entertainment: Two Moods, One New Beginning

Sometimes a new chapter begins with a single photo. On September 28, New of THE BOYZ announced he has signed an exclusive contract with ONLY NEW Entertainment, and he marked the moment with a fresh set of profile photos on his personal Instagram.

THE BOYZ: Two Moods, Two Sides of New

The profile shots show New in two very different moods. In the black-and-white photos, he wears a black suit and gives off a calm, composed vibe. In the others, he pairs a white t-shirt with denim jeans, winking and striking free-spirited poses for a more natural, playful side. The contrast reads like a small preview of an artist ready to show more range.

What the Agency Says?

ONLY NEW Entertainment described him as an artist with a unique vocal tone and solid skills who can show his own color in various fields. The agency promised to “contemplate his path together” and offer active support so he can fully unfold his capabilities. That wording suggests plenty of room for solo projects and stage work ahead.

What About THE BOYZ?

Fans, breathe easy. THE BOYZ debuted in 2017, and New has been a vocalist in the group while building his individual career, including on the musical stage. Meanwhile, the other nine members (Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo and Eric) will continue group activities as a nine-member group under a new label. For the group’s background, see the Wikipedia page on The Boyz.
