The ISL Playoffs are Here: The Battle for the ISL Crown is ON!

The Indian Super League (ISL) is one of the most exciting and highly-anticipated football tournaments in the country, and the playoffs are finally here! The best teams in the league have battled it out over the course of the season, and now the time has come for them to showcase their skills on the biggest stage of all.

The Indian Super League (ISL) has set the stage for a thrilling conclusion to the 2022-23 season with the announcement of the playoffs and final dates. The playoffs will begin on March 03 and culminate with the final on March 18, 2023.

For the first time in ISL history, the top six teams will face off in a new playoff format to determine the champion. The top two teams will automatically qualify for the semi-finals while the remaining four spots will be determined through single-leg play-offs between the teams finishing 3rd to 6th.

The semi-finals will be a two-leg affair with the 1st leg taking place on the 7th and 9th of March and the 2nd leg on the 12th and 13th of March. The winner of each knockout match will face off against the top two teams in the semi-finals.

The venue for the ISL final is yet to be announced but fans can expect the competition to heat up as the top teams fight for a place in the final. Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC have already secured their place in the next round with the other four spots up for grabs.

Teams like Kerala Blasters, ATK Mohun Bagan, FC Goa, Odisha FC, Bengaluru FC, and Chennaiyin FC are in the running to secure one of the remaining four spots. Bengaluru has recently made a comeback while Chennaiyin will need to win every encounter to stand a chance. Meanwhile, Kerala Blasters, ATK Mohun Bagan, and FC Goa are all looking to secure a higher finish.

The ISL playoffs are finally here, and fans across the country are buzzing with excitement! Over the past few months, the best teams in the league have fought tooth and nail to earn a spot in this prestigious tournament, and now the time has come for them to show what they’re made of.
