The Affair Was Just the Beginning: The Doctor Couple Hiding Something Bigger Than An Affair

New stills for upcoming drama “The Affair Was Just the Beginning” have revealed the unsettling chemistry between Cho Yeo Jeong and Kim Jae Chul, who play a married doctor couple hiding far more than infidelity.

The Affair Was Just the Beginning: A Secret Bigger Than An Affair

Starring Kim Hye Soo, Cho Yeo Jeong, Kim Ji Hun, and Kim Jae Chul, the drama is a black comedy that spirals when a picture-perfect influencer couple and their next-door neighbors — a doctor couple locked in a bitter divorce battle — get tangled in a secret so overwhelming it makes an affair look trivial.

Cho Yeo Jeong plays Su Jeong, director of a dermatology clinic, while Kim Jae Chul plays her husband Bo Seong. The stills show two faces of Su Jeong: a refined, relaxed upper-class charm in one frame, and a cold, chilling stare in the next. Bo Seong looks equally split — a trustworthy suit hiding a relentless, goal-driven edge.

Cho Yeo Jeong called the set “a place that allowed me to be Su Jeong,” praising the teamwork, while Kim Jae Chul shared he was thrilled to finally work with an actress he’s long admired.
