That Night Netflix: The Spanish Crime Drama That Will Keep You Up All Night

Three sisters. One terrible accident. A secret that could destroy everything. That Night, the gripping new Spanish drama hitting Netflix in March 2026, is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about thrillers of the year — and for good reason.

What Is That Night About?

The story is deceptively simple — and devastatingly complex. During a family vacation in the Dominican Republic, Elena accidentally hits a man with her car. Panicked and terrified, she calls her two sisters, Paula and Cris, for help. Together, the three must make a split-second decision: protect Elena from going to prison, or do the right thing.

What follows is a six-episode deep dive into loyalty, guilt, and the lengths family will go to shield one another from consequences. The series is adapted from the Sunday Times bestselling novel by British author Gillian McAllister, whose psychological thrillers are known for their nail-biting moral tension.

That Night: Meet the Cast

The three sisters are brought to life by some of Spain’s most recognizable faces:

Clara Galle as Elena — best known for Netflix’s Through My Window franchise, she carries the emotional weight of the story as the sister at the center of it all.

Claudia Salas as Paula — a fan favourite from Élite, one of Netflix’s biggest Spanish hits, bringing sharp intensity to the role.

Paula Usero as Cris — familiar to Spanish drama fans from The Lady’s Companion and The Cook of Castamar, she rounds out the trio with quiet, considered depth.

Why This Is Worth Your Watchlist

Spanish-language thrillers have been absolutely dominating Netflix globally — and That Night ticks every box: a morally complex plot, A-list Spanish cast talent, a sun-drenched but sinister backdrop, and a story rooted in a bestselling novel. If you loved Money Heist or Elite, this one belongs on your radar.
