When Superstar Rajinikanth picks up a scalpel instead of his usual swagger-loaded props, you know something different is brewing. The makers of his much-awaited project, earlier known by the codename Thalaivar173, have finally dropped the title — and it’s called Dharman.

A Doctor With An Edge

The first-look poster shows Rajinikanth dressed in scrubs, scalpel in hand, with the tagline “The Deadly Doctor.” The makers captioned the reveal “Dharmame Vellum,” meaning “Justice Will Prevail” — a hint that this stylish doctor isn’t just here to heal, but to settle scores too.

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, known for his work on Dragon, the film marks a fresh creative pairing for the Superstar. Adding more weight to the project, veteran actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is co-producing it, bringing together two of Tamil cinema’s biggest names on the production side.
