Tejasswi Prakash’s Chilling Stalker Incident: How Karan Kundrra Protected Her After Intruder Breached Home

Bollywood actress Tejasswi Prakash recently opened up about a terrifying experience that shook her sense of security—a stalker who persistently harassed her, eventually breaching her home when she was alone. The incident reveals the dark side of celebrity life, but also showcases boyfriend Karan Kundrra’s protective instincts. During promotions for her psychological thriller web series, Prakash recounted the harrowing ordeal with raw honesty, sparking conversations about celebrity safety in India.

Tejasswi Prakash’s Stalking Campaign: It Started with Letters

Tejasswi recalled the ordeal during an interview with News18 Showsha. The ordeal began innocuously: a stalker would drop mysterious letters in her row house’s front yard every day. At first, Tejasswi couldn’t identify the person despite installing security cameras. The anonymous letters continued relentlessly, creating an atmosphere of constant unease.

Timeline of Events:

• Persistent daily letters dropped at front yard
• Security cameras installed but stalker remained undetected
• Pattern escalated toward direct confrontation
• Home breach attempt during vulnerable moment

The psychological toll intensified as Tejasswi realized someone was deliberately watching her movements, waiting for the perfect moment to act.

The Breach: When Privacy Became Dangerous

The situation escalated catastrophically when the stalker entered her home through the balcony while Tejasswi was alone. This wasn’t mere admiration—it was a criminal violation of her sanctuary. Fortunately, the timing of her driver’s and mother’s arrival proved crucial.

Tejasswi’s account: “One day, he came inside the house when I was alone. Luckily, my driver and mom came and caught him in the balcony, and we had to take him to the cops. He used to drop really weird letters. First, Karan handled him, and then we took him to the cops.”

Celebrity stalking represents a serious mental health and criminal justice issue, disproportionately affecting women in high-visibility professions.

Karan Kundrra’s Protective Response: Relationship Strength

What stands out from Tejasswi’s recounting is Karan Kundrra’s immediate protective action. Rather than leaving the situation to authorities alone, Karan intervened directly, handling the stalker before police involvement. This moment exemplifies genuine partnership during crisis—not romantic heroics, but practical protection and decisive action.

The couple, together for nearly 5 years since their Bigg Boss 15 appearance, demonstrated relationship resilience during genuine threat. Karan’s presence and intervention during this vulnerable moment reinforced Tejasswi’s safety.

The Psychological Impact: “Really Weird Letters”

Tejasswi’s phrase—”really weird letters”—suggests psychological manipulation beyond simple admiration. Stalkers often escalate through correspondence, testing boundaries verbally before attempting physical confrontation. The letters likely contained obsessive declarations, threats, or disturbing fantasies, conditioning Tejasswi to expect escalation.

Celebrity safety concerns include:

• Boundary violations (home intrusions)
• Persistent contact despite rejection
• Psychological manipulation
• Physical threat escalation

Current Updates: Career Momentum Amid Security Consciousness

Despite this traumatic experience, Tejasswi continues thriving professionally. Her web series “Psycho Saiyaan” marks her OTT debut alongside Anud Singh Dhaka, featuring veteran actors Ravi Kishan and Surbhi Chandna. The series’ psychological thriller premise resonates particularly given her real-life security ordeal.

Interestingly, Karan recently displayed a temporary tattoo of Tejasswi’s face on his chest, publicly celebrating their relationship while promoting “Psycho Saiyaan.”

Celebrity Safety in India

Tejasswi’s experience isn’t isolated—Indian celebrities regularly report stalking, home intrusions, and escalating harassment. Unlike Western jurisdictions with robust anti-stalking legislation, India’s legal framework often treats such violations less seriously until physical violence occurs.
