Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G to Make Global Debut at MWC 2024

The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G has been officially confirmed for launch at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, scheduled for late February. This smartphone marks the introduction of the Pova 6 series and stands out as Tecno’s first handset to feature Dolby Atmos spatial sound support.

It is set to succeed the Tecno Pova 5 Pro, which, with its MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and impressive 68W fast charging capability, made waves in the market. Boasting a 120Hz refresh rate display and a dual rear camera system led by a powerful 50-megapixel primary sensor, the Pova 5 Pro set a high standard for its successors.

In an official press release on Monday, January 29, Tecno announced the global debut of the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, happening from February 26 to 29. Notably, this smartphone will mark Tecno’s entry into the realm of Dolby Atmos, as it becomes the first in the Pova series to support this advanced audio technology.

Tecno has further solidified its commitment to an enhanced audio experience by entering into a strategic partnership with Dolby Laboratories. This collaboration ensures that Dolby Atmos support will extend not only to the Pova 6 series but also to the upcoming Pova series, Camon, and Phantom series smartphones. Tecno promises its global users a breathtaking Dolby Atmos spatial sound experience, characterized by immersive depth, clarity, and unprecedented detail.

The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G, as the successor to the Pova 5 Pro, builds on the solid foundation laid by its predecessor. Launched in August of the previous year with a price tag of ₹14,999 for the base variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Pova 5 Pro garnered attention for its 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
