R. Chezhiyan : A Career Built on Honest Storytelling

Born in Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu, Chezhiyan initially trained in civil engineering before following his passion for photography and storytelling. He made his independent debut as a cinematographer with 2007’s Kalloori and went on to shoot acclaimed films including Rettaisuzhi, Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, Magizhchi, Paradesi, and Joker — work known for capturing raw, lived-in realism.
