Take Charge of My Heart: A Man With a Dying Artificial Heart Needs a Woman Who Shocks

What do you do when your artificial heart is running out of battery and the only person who can recharge it is a stranger with electric powers? In Netflix’s new romantic comedy Take Charge of My Heart, you make a deal. A fresh poster and teaser have just dropped, and the concept is as charged as the title suggests.

Take Charge of My Heart: Drama Overview

Take Charge of My Heart Premise: A Charging Contract

Na Bo Bae’s daily life has been a nightmare because of her electrical powers. Then she meets Baek Ho Rang, who is immune to electricity. She clings to him and asks whether he felt a tingle or a spark, while he only looks embarrassed.

Then the tables turn. Baek Ho Rang’s artificial heart has run out of power, and he discovers that it charges faster the closer he is to her. To secure his succession to TS Group, he proposes that they live together for the sake of “charging,” begging her to save him for three months.

Na Bo Bae, whose own romance had been “discharged,” agrees in exchange for help completing her romance bucket list for a drama script. And so the charging contract begins.

Complications on the Way

The teaser also introduces a love triangle. Top star Ji Eun Ho, who is Na Bo Bae’s number one fan, enters the picture. Meanwhile, TS Group’s troublemaker Choi Do Yoon and strategist Han Seol Hee add tension to the corporate side of the story.

Why It Looks Fun?

The poster captures the dynamic well: pink electric currents swirl around Na Bo Bae while Baek Ho Rang keeps an indifferent expression right beside her. It’s a classic opposites-attract setup with a quirky twist, and the deadline of three months gives the romance built-in urgency.
