For over a decade, a single number has followed Sussanne Khan everywhere: Rs 400 crore, the alimony she was rumored to have received after her 2014 divorce from Hrithik Roshan. Now, her sister Farah Khan Ali has stepped in to shut the rumor down for good.
What Farah Khan Ali Actually Said?
Speaking to Vickey Lalwani, jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali firmly denied that any such payout ever happened, calling the claim deeply upsetting and completely untrue. She was clear that Sussanne walked away with nothing close to that figure — and pushed back hard against online narratives painting her sister as materially motivated.
Farah also rejected the “gold-digger” label often attached to her sister, describing Sussanne instead as someone raised to prioritize relationships over material wealth, a value instilled by their mother.
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Marriage | Hrithik Roshan & Sussanne Khan, married Dec 2000 |
| Divorce finalized | November 2014 |
| Alimony rumor | Rs 400 crore (denied by family) |
| Children | Hrehaan (2006), Hridhaan (2008) |
| Sussanne’s current partner | Arslan Goni |
| Hrithik’s current partner | Saba Azad |
Why Sussanne Stayed Silent For So Long
According to Farah, she repeatedly urged her sister to publicly clear the air, but Sussanne consistently chose not to respond to public opinion, preferring to stay focused on her own life rather than online chatter.
That restraint lines up with how both Hrithik and Sussanne have handled their separation since 2013 — keeping their sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan shielded from media scrutiny while maintaining a famously amicable co-parenting relationship. Life After the Divorce
Both have since moved forward. Sussanne is currently in a relationship with Arslan Goni, who is gaining fresh attention for his appearance on the reality show Alliance. Hrithik, meanwhile, has been dating actor-musician Saba Azad since 2022. Despite the split, Sussanne reportedly remains close to her former in-laws, Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan — a detail that speaks volumes about how the family handled things. You can read more about the couple’s history on Wikipedia’s Hrithik Roshan profile.
The Bigger Picture
Alimony speculation has long fueled tabloid narratives around celebrity divorces, but this clarification offers a rare, direct correction from someone inside the family. It’s a reminder that headline numbers don’t always reflect the full story.
