Some summers change everything. The first teaser for the teen romance Summer Vacation is out, and it follows two lonely teenagers who find an unexpected connection in a remote village. Starring B1A4’s Jin Young and Cho Yi Hyun, the drama promises a magical, bittersweet love story.

Summer Vacation: Drama Details

Two Lonely Teens, One Magical Encounter

Cho Yi Hyun plays Kim Ha Yeon, an ordinary high school student who has a mysterious experience during her summer vacation before returning to reality. In the teaser, she feels worn down by her family’s indifference and the alienation she feels around classmates. Her declaration is the heart of the story: “One way or another, I’m going to change my destiny.”

Jin Young plays Jo Yu Gyeom, the eldest son of a traditional village family. He looks stoic standing at the edge of a cliff, but he secretly feels trapped by his family’s strict rules and yearns to break free.

Where Their Paths Cross?

The two meet when Ha Yeon accompanies her father on a business trip to the village of Upo. Both teens have been dreaming of a miracle, and their meeting changes both of their lives. The teaser shows glimpses of them meeting and falling in love, while voice-over narration says they believe a miracle can happen in their own lives.

Why It’s Worth Watching?

Teen romances work best when the emotions feel real, and this one starts from loneliness rather than a simple meet-cute. If you want to know more about Jin Young’s music background, the B1A4 Wikipedia page is a good starting point.
