Squid Game (Season 2): Netflix confirms the renewal of the most awaited Korean drama series 

We have got a brand-new short trailer that shows some positive lights about the return of the Netflix series Squid game for the second season. Hwang Dong-hyuk who takes the responsibility single-handedly as he is the writer and director of such insanely famous Netflix series Squid Game just dropped a note about that latest second season with that teaser trailer. 

Hwang writes, “it took 12 years to bring the first season of Squid Game to life last year,” he also added, “But it took 12 days for Squid Game to become the most popular Netflix series ever. He gives a big thanks to the fans and goes on to offer some details based on the next season.

Squid Game (Season 2): Plot 

In this second season, we will see Gi-hun will return. The frontman returns. One man will appear in the suit with ddakji would be back. You will also be introduced to Young-hee’s boyfriend. Hi-hun is the lead character of the show. Young-hee is a large animatronic full that is the main centerpiece of the game named Red Light, Green Light, and the also her boyfriend’s eye is the main focus of the latest teaser trailer, and his name is Cheol-su. 

It also has been confirmed about the return of Salesman, the character who first draws Gi-hun into the world of the Squid Game.  This is mainly the ‘man in the suit with ddakji’, ddakji is mainly the envelope that tossing, the face-slapping game of escalation and used to draw Gi-hun got entering.

The executive producer Kim Ji-Yeon said, “We are working on the script right now and making the form of the story.” he also added, “but there is definitely a lot of pressure on how to make it even better. I know that a lot of the different fans and audiences have enjoyed the series too much, but really, we are focusing on how to make it even more joyful to the global audience.”

This is mainly a nine-episode Korean drama and also Netflix’s one of the biggest hits. The story takes inspiration from the Battle Royale along with such a stud like the Running man. They added some dystopian concepts with children’s street games to provide such a horror thriller. 

The success of the show leads to inspiring a wave of videogames by adapting those ideas with such creating platforms like Roblox and Minecraft, which follows the floods of ‘squidlike’ and also many Squid game mods.

The ending of the first series made it quite clear that this story might continue, and it arguably deserved the success. The second season does not expose any such release date yet, we can confirm say that at least it does not take 12 years to launch.
