Splitsvilla X6 Winner Revealed — Gullu aka Kushal Tanwar and Kaira Anu Win Rs 20 Lakh in the ‘Pyaar Ya Paisa’ Finale

After four months of chaos, alliances, drama, and moments that kept viewers hooked to their screens, MTV Splitsvilla X6 has finally crowned its winners — and it’s the pair that slowly but surely became everyone’s favourite. Gullu aka Kushal Tanwar and Kaira Anu have been declared the winners of Splitsvilla 16, beating out fierce competition in the grand finale to take home a cash prize of Rs 20 lakh.

Hosted by the iconic duo of Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra, this season played out under the theme of ‘Pyaar Ya Paisa’ — giving contestants a choice between love and money as their path to victory.

From Underdogs to Champions — The Gullu-Kaira Story

What makes this win resonate is the journey behind it. Kushal — popularly known as Gullu on the show — admitted openly that many people didn’t like him at the start of the season. He and Kaira faced opposition, scepticism, and in-house rivalry. But episode by episode, their genuine connection and sharp gameplay won over both housemates and the audience watching at home.

Kushal credited Kaira as his backbone throughout — saying she had motivated him from Day 1 by making it personal, telling him she wanted to win for him. That kind of partnership — where both people are fighting for the other — is exactly what separates real connections from strategic ones on a show like this.

Kaira, still processing the win at the time of the finale, called the journey beautiful and emotional, and said being chosen by the audience made it especially meaningful. What struck her most was that she and Gullu had stayed strong through all the chaos — never losing each other in the noise of the villa.

Turning public hatred into love by the end of a reality season? That’s not a small feat — that’s a full character arc, and the audience clearly respected it. For more Indian reality TV updates, check out Technosports’ entertainment section.
