Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up — Marvel’s Spookiest Disney+ Crossover Yet

Marvel just dropped the first trailer for its newest superhero crossover, and this one’s built for the whole family. Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up brings together heroes from three different animated universes for a spooky season showdown — and fans are already buzzing.

What’s the New Crossover About?

The animated special merges characters from Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, and the upcoming Avengers: Mightiest Friends series. Set during Halloween, the story follows Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Black Panther, and Wasp as they team up to stop villain Hallows’ Eve from wrecking the holiday — complete with a giant skeletal dinosaur fight in the trailer.

The special premieres on Disney Jr. on September 24, arriving on Disney+ the very next day.

Marvel’s Bigger Crossover Wave

This isn’t a one-off. Marvel has a stacked lineup of team-ups heading to screens over the next year.

Why This Matters for the MCU?

Spider-Man has long been the connective thread across Marvel Comics’ team-up storytelling, and Marvel Studios is clearly leaning into that legacy on the small screen. With VisionQuest dropping soon and Daredevil: Born Again building toward its biggest reunion yet, this Halloween special is really the opening act of a much larger crossover season heading toward Avengers: Doomsday.
